A constituent of the Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, Comrade Abdulrahman Ibrahim Darazo, has commended the lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, for his interventions in education and healthcare.

Darazo said Soro’s representation had gone beyond legislative duties to include projects and programmes aimed at creating opportunities and improving the wellbeing of constituents.
He said development should not only be measured by legislative activities, but also by the institutions established, opportunities created and the lives directly impacted by a representative.
According to him, Soro’s commitment to education and healthcare has resulted in tangible investments across the constituency, particularly in the provision of educational institutions and healthcare facilities.
The lawmaker said his education interventions include the Darazo Central Gifted Secondary School; Ganjuwa East Gifted Secondary School, Soro; Darazo West Gifted Secondary School, Sade; Ganjuwa West Gifted Secondary School, Kafin Madaki; Special Primary School, Lanzai; Manu Soro Memorial School for Orphans, Soro; and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Study Centre in Soro.
He added that the interventions were not limited to infrastructure, as students and young people had also benefited from scholarships, educational support and assistance targeted at gifted and less-privileged students.
Soro said the initiatives were designed to expand access to education and enable more young people within the constituency to acquire quality education and pursue their aspirations.
On healthcare, he listed the Nana Kashim Shettima Paediatric Hospital, Sade; Aisha Bala Mohammed Paediatric Hospital, Soro; Hadiza Mohammed Abubakar Paediatric Hospital, Gabarin; and Maryam Uwais Paediatric Hospital, Miya, among the facilities established through his interventions.
He explained that the healthcare projects were aimed at bringing essential medical infrastructure closer to rural communities and improving access to healthcare services.
“The numbers tell part of the story, but the bigger picture is the opportunities created, students supported, healthcare access strengthened and communities impacted through sustained investment in education and healthcare,” Soro said.
Darazo, while commending the lawmaker, said the interventions demonstrated the importance of combining effective representation with initiatives that directly improve the lives of constituents.
He urged stakeholders in the constituency to support programmes and projects capable of strengthening education, healthcare and human capital development across Darazo and Ganjuwa local government areas.
