The late Supreme Head of C&S Unification Church of Nigeria and Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, His Most Eminence, Baba Aladura Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo, will be buried on Friday, October 23.
Secretary-General of the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria, Snr Apostle Tayo Ajose, confirmed this to Acts of Seraphs.

He said the funeral rites for the late Supreme Head will commence on Monday, October 19 till Saturday, October 24.
Baba Alogbo transitioned to eternal glory on July 30, 2026, at the age of 93.
He was formally installed as the Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria on September 20, 2025.
Elder Ajose, however, noted that his remains would be laid to rest in Lagos.
The secretary-general also explained that the church was still working on the detailed programme of events, adding that an official statement containing the burial arrangements would be released anytime soon.
He said, “The funeral activities will start on Monday, October 19, through Saturday, October 24. The interment will take place on Friday, and he will be buried in Lagos.
“The church will be involved from Monday to Friday, while Saturday is that of the family, which is a social event.
“We are currently working on the programme, and as soon as we are done, we will release a statement to formally announce the burial date and order of the funeral activities.”
He added that separate committees constituted by the C&S Movement Church and the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria would work together to coordinate the funeral arrangements.
Meanwhile, the C &S Movement Church had earlier announced the development in a notice sighted on Saturday.
The notice, signed by the church’s Secretary-General, Senior Special Apostle (Dr. ) Anthony Olusesan Samaye, stated that the Acting Spiritual Father of the church, Most Senior Special Apostle Pastor (Dr.) Gabriel Olayinka Kassim, had constituted a burial committee to plan, coordinate and oversee the funeral arrangements for the late Baba Aladura Alogbo.
The notification, circulated among various cadres of the church leadership stated that the funeral programmes would hold from October 19 to 24.
It added that the venue and detailed programme of activities would be announced by the burial committee.
The church urged all districts, branches and members to cooperate with the committee throughout the burial arrangements.
