Singer Seun Kuti has explained his involvement in the controversy surrounding Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan.
Kuti revealed that he encouraged VeryDarkMan to release the audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky claiming to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million.
During an Instagram live session, Kuti stated, “I was the first person VeryDarkMan informed about the recording. I gave him the go-ahead to expose him”.
The audio recording sparked heated debate, with Bobrisky denying the claims and labeling the recording as fake.
Bobrisky asserted that he served his prison term, contrary to the recording’s claims.
The EFCC has since summoned Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to its Lagos office to provide information and assist with the ongoing investigation into the bribery allegations.
