A socio-political group has warned against importing thugs into Edo State ahead of the election on Saturday.
The group in a statement said any thug brought into the state to disrupt Saturday’s governorship election would regret his action.
Secretary of the group, Musa Osagie said the APC is alleged to have thugs imported from Kogi and Imo states.
The group said the umpires must ensure a free playing field for all participants in the governorship election on Saturday September 21.
He said Edolites are prepared to ensure their votes count and will ensure the protection of their votes.
The group therefore called on INEC, and the police to ensure free and fair election.
