The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has appointed Prof Sammy Olufemi Sam-Wobo as the new Director of the FUNAAB Zoological Park.
Prof Sam-Wobo is of the Department of Pure and Applied Zoology, College of Biosciences (COLBIOS) of the University.
He takes over the running of the FUNAAB Zoological Park from Prof. Oladapo Oduntan, its immediate past Director.
With his new appointment, Sam-Wobo who is also the President of the Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN), is expected to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience into the running and management of the FUNAAB Zoological Park.
According to the Management of the Park, his “appointment is a testament to his outstanding academic and administrative leadership capabilities, as well as his dedication to the development of our beloved Zoo Park.
