A man has allegedly stabbed his own son, 17-year-old Abdulra’uf Abdullahi, to death during a family dispute in Chirokusko Village, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this in a post on X on Wednesday.
The post said the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9.
According to Makama, the boy’s father, identified as Danga Shiru Wanzam, allegedly stabbed him in the chest with a knife during a disagreement.
“The exact cause of the dispute is yet to be known,” he wrote.
Policemen who arrived at the scene rushed the victim to the General Hospital in Babbangida.
But a medical officer on duty confirmed that Abdulra’uf was dead on arrival.
Police said efforts were ongoing to apprehend the suspect, who fled the scene shortly after the attack.
