Pep Guardiola was not happy with how Manchester City played against Salford City in the FA Cup Fourth Round on Saturday.

He called it a “boring” game even though he won 2-0 and moved on to the next round.
The Cityzens played against a League Two team at the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup Fourth Round.
Tottenham Hotspur’s loan player Alfie Dorrington accidentally scored an own goal in the sixth minute of the match.
Marc Guehi added to City’s advantage in the 81st minute. They made many more chances but did not turn them into goals.
After the game, Manchester City’s manager Pep Guardiola talked about his team’s performance, saying via GOAL, “No. We didn’t read the spaces where they were. It depends on how they defend the space in attack, and we didn’t see it coming.
“That’s why the game was boring. The only good thing is that we go through it. That’s all. It would be nice if we could say mentally that we’re exhausted and tired.
“It has been a difficult couple of weeks for a lot of reasons, but that’s just part of our job. We have to carry out what we need to carry out. The calendar says to play every few days.
“We just didn’t notice where the spaces were, which is why everything looked flat and moved slowly and wasn’t good,” he added.
Manchester City had 80% possession against Salford. They played 12 shots and three of those shots were on target.
