Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has accused Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella of ‘stitching up’ manager Liam Rosenior before he was sacked by Chelsea.
Recall that the Premier League west London club dismissed Rosenior earlier today.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Neville said: “The coach always takes the fall and that is the job. It is easier to sack one coach than twenty-five players.
“But let’s be honest… Cucurella and Fernandez, probably Chelsea’s only two experienced players, have been stitching Rosenior up for weeks by going public about how much they love Enzo Maresca.
“Well, they were not doing that well under Rosenior. I think Maresca is a good coach as well.”
