A large number of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters have reportedly been injured after police dispersed them in Abuja on Friday.
The protesters had defied police warnings against holding a procession.
They had laid ambush for the protesters immediately after the National Hospital area, dispersing them with teargas and live ammunition.
Five of the injured protesters, who spoke with newsmen, criticised the police for their actions.
They claimed they had to run into the bush when police operatives began to fire live ammunition at them.
