…promises to uphold rule of law
Edo state Attorney – General and commissioner for Justice Dr Samson Osagie said that one of the policy trusts of the present administration of Senator Monday Okpebholo is centred on the rule of law.
Speaking while addressing staff of the ministry of Justice upon resumption of office said the desire of every lawyer or legal practitioner is to rise to the pinnacle of his or her career hence the reason while he cherished his appointment as Attorney – General and commissioner for Justice.
While giving commitment that his appointment would enhance him the opportunity to serve Edo people through a government that believes in the rule of law, Dr Osagie charged the staff to work with him so that they can both contribute their quota to the development of the state.
Speaking on his observation after a guided tour of various offices in the ministry, the former principal officer at the House of representatives appreciated the beautiful environment of the building even as he hinted that the present administration is going to work on the capacity of the staff to ensure that they deliver on the mandate of the Senator Monday Okpebholo ‘s new Edo is risen agenda.
In a brief remark, the permanent secretary of the ministry Mrs A. O Aigbavboa promised to work with the commissioner together with the entire staff in ensuring his successes in the administration of Justice that would be of mutual benefit to the people of Edo state.
Earlier, a short exhortation service was conducted in the office of the commissioner where the officiating minister, Rev (Dr) Olu Aibinuomon committed the A-G and entire staff of the ministry into God’s hands
