An Abuja based lawyer on Monday said the vindication of the Attorney General of Edo State, Dr. Samson Osagie is a triumph of justice and integrity.
Addressing Journalists in Abuja, Barrister Aiyamenkhue said it servey as a powerful reminder that allegations must be thoroughly investigated, and the accused must be given the opportunity to clear their name.
According to him, “The clearance of Dr. Samson Osagie has significant implications for the nation’s legal community and the rule of law. It underscores the importance of due process, the presumption of innocence, and the need for thorough investigations before rushing to judgment.

In a stunning reversal, The Attorney General of Edo State has been fully vindicated of allegations of financial infraction, bringing an end to a tumultuous chapter in the nation’s legal community.
About a few weeks after the appointment of Rt. Hon. Dr. Samson Osagie, as the Attorney General of Edo State, he was accused of financial infraction, sparking widespread outrage on his integrity that he has built over decades.
An investigation was launched, and the Attorney General cooperated fully, maintaining his innocence throughout.
After a thorough and exhaustive investigation, the Investigative Committee has cleared Dr. Samson Osagie of all wrongdoing.
The investigation, which spanned over four weeks, uncovered no evidence of any financial malfeasance or misconduct against him.
