Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, on Friday, officially registered as a member of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
A viral photograph shared by the media aide to the state APC Chairman, Tony Okocha, shows Fubara placing his thumbprint in a book believed to be the party’s register.
It was learnt Fubara’s registration took place at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
On Tuesday, Governor Fubara declared and announced his defection to the APC.
He said that his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party to the APC is in the interest of the people of Rivers State and also a gesture of appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, whom he credited for his continuation in office as the Governor of Rivers State.
