Former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, on Wednesday, arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over his involvement in an alleged N110 billion fraud.
He however pleaded not guilty to the 16-count charge preferred against him by the anti-graft Agency.
Bello was arraigned before Justice Maryanne Anenih of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja.
In April 2024, the former Kogi governor was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
He was arrested and detained in Abuja by the Agency on Tuesday.
