The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Ajao Saka Adewale, on Thursday 3rd September 2026, received in audience the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Bayelsa State, led by High Chief Neminegboh James, ph.,D at the Command Headquarters, Yenagoa.
The visit provided an opportunity for the PCRC to congratulate the Commissioner on his assumption of duty and express its readiness to strengthen collaboration with the Command towards building a safer and more peaceful Bayelsa State.
In his remarks, CP Ajao appreciated the PCRC for the visit and its continued support for the Nigeria Police Force, stressing that effective policing is strengthened by active community participation, trust and partnership.
The Commissioner called for sustained cooperation, credible information sharing and greater community engagement, assuring that the Command remains committed to professional, responsive and people-oriented policing.
He further emphasised that the Command would continue to deepen community policing initiatives and work closely with the PCRC and other critical stakeholders to prevent crime, enhance public safety and foster lasting peace across the State.
The PCRC leadership, in turn, pledged its unwavering support to the Commissioner and the Command, expressing confidence in his leadership and renewed security drive.
