The Commissioner also announced that the projects, which were previously pending, have now been ratified.

“This move will significantly enhance transportation and connectivity in Bauchi, fostering economic growth and development,” Galadima stated.

According to Amina Katagum, the move was also aimed at facilitating provision of basic amenities to households and enhance security of lives and properties.

“This initiative will facilitate easy identification and navigation, making Bauchi a more organized and modern state,” Katagum explained.

Other memos approved during the council’s meeting include reversing the operations of Yankari transport corporation from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Works and Transport,

Another one is moving the Federal Medical Center Azare to Misau Local Government Area as well as introduction of the state emergency services and ambulance system to take effective care of accident victims.

In a landmark decision, the State Government has formally handed over the General Hospital Misau to the Federal Government, paving the way for the establishment of a Federal Medical Center in the state.

This move is part of Governor Bala Mohammed’s vision to provide top-notch healthcare services to the people of the state.

According to Commissioner of Health, Dr. Adamu Umar Sambo, the State Executive Council ratified the transfer of the hospital during a recent meeting.
