A Kano State High Court, on Monday, stopped Aminu Ado Bayero and four other dethroned emirs of Bichi, Rano, Gaya and Karaye from parading themselves as emirs. The court issued an interim injunction restraining Bayero and the four other deposed emirs from parading themselves pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice filed by the Applicants. Kogi State Government says its committed to ensuring those behind the killings of two abducted students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, are apprehended and appropriately punished. The government stated that the students were killed during negotiations for their release. Lagos Emergency Management Agency, on Sunday, confirmed the rescue of five persons and the recovery of one dead body from a collapsed mosque at Papa Ajao, Mushin, Lagos.
