As the Africa Military Games gradually comes to an end on Saturday 30th November, 2024, the Nigeria Armed Forces are currently leading the medals table with 87 Gold, 47 Silver and 40 Bronze.
Twenty Countries are participating in the 2nd edition of the Africa Military Games that is ongoing in Abuja, Nigeria.
Algeria is second on the medals table with 42 gold medals follow up by Kenya with 15 gold medals.
Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde and five other countries haven’t won another gold medals.
Meanwhile, the chairman technical sub committee of the games, Brigadier General Abdulrhama Bello said the hosting of the Games in Abuja has further boost the cordial relationship of Nigeria within the Africa continent.
General Abdulrhama Bello has reacting to the immediate benefit of the games adding that many economic activities were reactivated during the sporting event.
