Residents and supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency have joined family, friends and political associates in celebrating the birthday of philanthropist and NDC House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, popularly known as OmoBarca.

OmoBarca, who was born on August 18, 1983, is being celebrated by members of the constituency for what they described as his commitment to grassroots development, philanthropy and the welfare of ordinary residents.

The birthday celebration has also provided an opportunity for NDC supporters across Ajeromi Ifelodun to express their confidence in OmoBarca’s political ambition ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Supporters described the politician as a grassroots-oriented leader whose relationship with the people extends beyond electoral politics. According to them, his philanthropic activities and engagement with residents have continued to strengthen his connection with communities across the constituency.

In their birthday message, NDC supporters congratulated OmoBarca on attaining another milestone in his life and prayed for continued good health, wisdom and success as he prepares for the 2027 election.

They also expressed optimism that his aspiration to represent Ajeromi Ifelodun in the National Assembly would receive broad support from the electorate.

The supporters said they were particularly encouraged by what they described as OmoBarca’s accessibility and willingness to identify with the challenges confronting residents, especially young people and vulnerable members of the community.

They maintained that effective representation should go beyond making promises during election periods, stressing that a representative must maintain a strong connection with constituents and remain responsive to their needs.

“OmoBarca has demonstrated that leadership is about service and commitment to the people. We celebrate him today not only as a politician but also as a philanthropist and a brother who has continued to identify with the people,” the supporters said.

They urged residents of Ajeromi Ifelodun to continue supporting leaders who, according to them, have demonstrated commitment to grassroots development and inclusive representation.

The birthday celebration also featured goodwill messages from political associates and supporters who wished the NDC candidate greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

The supporters expressed confidence that OmoBarca would provide effective representation if elected in 2027, promising to mobilise voters and supporters across the constituency for his campaign.

They further prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the celebrant, while asking that his new age bring greater opportunities to serve humanity.

OmoBarca’s birthday comes at a significant period in the political calendar, with political parties and aspirants already positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.

For his supporters, however, the celebration is not merely about marking another year. They see it as an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to his political aspiration and to mobilise grassroots support for the forthcoming electoral contest.

The NDC supporters in Ajeromi Ifelodun therefore wished Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, OmoBarca, a happy 43rd birthday, while expressing their hope that the coming year would usher in greater achievements, stronger community engagement and victory at the polls.

They concluded with a message of solidarity: “Happy birthday, OmoBarca. May your new age bring you greater wisdom, strength and success. Ajeromi Ifelodun is with you, and we look forward to victory in 2027.”
