Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly called YAYI, has described the inauguration of the party’s Campaign Council as a major step towards securing a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, brought together Governor Dapo Abiodun; former governor and national leader of the party, Aremo Olusegun Osoba; Adeola’s running mate, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun; Ogun State APC Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi; party leaders, candidates and other stakeholders.

Adeola commended Governor Abiodun for his purposeful leadership and commitment to the unity, stability and continued progress of the APC in Ogun State.
He also appreciated President Bola Tinubu, Aremo Osoba and other party leaders for their guidance and contributions to the growth of the party.
The Ogun West Senator charged members of the Campaign Council to approach their responsibilities with discipline, dedication and a strong sense of service.
He urged them to strengthen the APC’s structures and mobilise effectively across the state’s 20 local government areas and 236 wards.
He assured members who were not appointed to the council that they remained valued members of the APC family, stressing that everyone has an important role to play in the party’s collective success.
Adeola expressed confidence that with unity and effective grassroots mobilisation, the APC would deliver a decisive victory for President Tinubu and all its candidates across Ogun State in 2027.
