All Progressives Congress,on Sunday, mocked former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, over his resignation from the African Democratic Congress.
The APC, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described Obi as a political rolling stone who gathers no moss.
The APC said Obi was roaming in search of a free, uncontested and unchallenged presidential ticket.
The statement read, “Peter Obi is never willing to remain to build any party. He fantasises to be president on a ticket delivered only a platter of gold.
“He’s a political rolling stone that gathers no moss … roaming again in search of free, uncontested, unchallenged presidential ticket.
“APGA – PDP – LP – ADC on to NDC. Fare thee well, Nigeria’s inconsolable political drifter.”
Obi on Sunday resigned from the ADC, citing internal divisions as reasons for his departure.
