The newly established Euston University, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, has commenced admission into five academic programmes approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Felicia Moh, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abakaliki, listing the approved programmes as Nursing Science, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Cyber Security and Computer Science.
She urged suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution to obtain application forms from the university, complete and submit them alongside relevant credentials or visit the university’s official website for further information.
Moh expressed appreciation to the NUC for successfully conducting the Resource Verification Exercise and granting approval for the commencement of academic activities in the five programmes.
She reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to maintaining the regulatory standards prescribed by the commission, assuring prospective students and parents of its determination to provide quality university education.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor also commended the university’s Chancellor, Lady Eunice Egwu, for her vision, investment and commitment to expanding access to higher education and creating opportunities for young people in Ebonyi State and beyond.
According to her, the university has made significant investments in infrastructure, academic facilities and human resources to establish a conducive environment for effective teaching, learning and research.
She further praised the leadership of the NUC for its ongoing reforms and efforts to strengthen the quality, relevance and standards of university education in Nigeria.
“The successful Resource Verification Exercise and subsequent approval by the NUC represent a significant milestone in the development of Euston University and pave the way for the commencement of academic activities in the approved programmes,” Moh said.
She invited prospective students, parents, guardians and members of the public to take advantage of the admission opportunity, urging interested candidates to apply early, as admission spaces are limited.
