The Proprietor and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Prince Ma’ruf Adesegun Ajibola SAN, on behalf of the Governing Council of Crescent University, Abeokuta, has announced the appointment of Dr Tirimisiyu Gbadebo Ogunmefun as substantive Bursar of the institution.
His appointment takes effect immediately.
Ogunmefun who bagged his PhD in Accounting at Crescent University, a week earlier has served in acting capacity for upward of two years.
He was deputy bursar of the institution for eight years under the late Alhaji Jimoh Bankole FCA.
Prior to joining Crescent University, Dr Ogunmefun had a stint as a banker for over a decade and a half (1997 to 2013), while his career spanned UBA, Platinum Bank, FCMB and GTBank where he meritoriously rose to the position of Deputy Manager.
He later worked as a Senior Accountant in the Ogun State Ministry of Budget and Planning between 2014 and 2016, before joining the services of Crescent University in January 9, 2017.
