The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly called Yayi, has announced a major financial empowerment package for members of the United Traders Forum, alongside commitments to critical infrastructure requested by the traders.
Speaking at a gathering of the Forum, Senator Adeola thanked the President, executives and members for their support, trust and confidence in him, assuring them that their expectations would not be disappointed.

As part of his intervention, Senator Adeola announced a ₦50,000 financial grant each for 1,000 members of the Forum, amounting to ₦50 million, as well as an additional ₦50 million to support the programmes of the Forum, bringing the total financial intervention announced at the event to ₦100 million.
Responding to requests presented by the Forum, Senator Adeola also promised the construction of a market at Olomore and the reconstruction of the Fadama–Fadage Road, Bode Olude.
He assured the traders that the interventions represented the beginning of greater opportunities and development initiatives, reaffirming his commitment to improving livelihoods, supporting businesses and addressing infrastructure needs across communities in Ogun State.
