Zambia head coach Nora Häuptle has said her team will go all out for a win against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The Copper Queens will be looking to secure a place in the quarter-finals at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations when they take on the defending champions in Rabat on Saturday (today).

Häuptle’s side started their campaign on an impressive note, thrashing the Cleopatras of Egypt 6-0.

Zambia lost 5-0 to the Super Falcons in the quarter-finals of the last edition.

The gaffer declared that her team will not play for draw despite the pedigree of their opponent.

“We never play for a draw, it’s not in our nature, we always chase for the lead in games. In the last edition we lost against Nigeria in the quarterfinals, we learnt a lot in the game in our game against Egypt we were flexible so we can surprise Nigeria.”
