…gives her one-week ultimatum to appear before disciplinary committee
The Edo State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, gave the member representing Egor constituency, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, one week ultimatum to appear before its ethics and privileges committee over a controversial video with her husband, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.

According to the Assembly, Natasha’s action has brought the state’s legislature to public disrepute.
Speaker Blessing Agbebaku, who announced this during Tuesday’s plenary, declared Natasha’s action as embarrassing.
He expressed regret that the lawmaker, who is now married to a Nigerian international singer, popularly called “2Baba”, had been dragging the name of the house in the mud for too long.
Natasha had in a recent viral video been heard arguing with her husband inside a shop in London, while shouting, “Don’t do that!”
The Edo lawmaker was heard in the video shouting, “Don’t do it. Don’t fucking do it! Na everyday you go dey shout for me? Wetin dey happen? Why are you raising your voice at me?”
The Edo Assembly Speaker said, “For the past one week, she has been, let me use the word, trending negatively, both on electronic media and social media platforms. Television such as TVC, Silverbird, and other television stations.
“Distinguished Members, of recent, this Honourable House, with cerebral and highly educated members, has been dragged in the mud for too long by our colleague, Honorable Natasha Irobosa Osawaru.
“We want to let the public know that this House is a decent and reputable House. In Nigeria, as a whole, this House is the best House. That is the truth.
“But we have responsible members in this House. Intelligent members in this House. Members that know what they are doing. So, the attitude or the misconduct of a member cannot drag the House to disrepute”, he said.
Agbebaku, therefore, directed the embattled lawmaker to appear before the Ethics and Privileges Committee within one week to explain why she has allegedly been soiling the name of the Assembly with her unbecoming public behaviour.
