President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, taunted Peter Obi, one of his main challengers in the 2027 Presidential election.
While the President is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Obi, who is of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, is plotting to stop him.

Tinubu, who spoke during his visit to Akwa Ibom State, on Friday, accused Obi of failing to tackle erosion when he was governor of Anambra State.
Making reference to his efforts to reclaim the Ocean at Eko Atlantic City when he was governor of Lagos State, Tinubu said unlike Obi who could not withstand erosion, he confronted the Atlantic Ocean and succeeded.
The President said, “There is one who says he is in a party they call NDC, who is running for president. He ran away from erosion in Anambra state.
“He could not confront erosion. I, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, confronted the Atlantic Ocean. I tamed it.”
Later at the inauguration of Arise Palm Resort in Uyo, the President hailed Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom while taking a jibe at Obi.
“Here we are on a resort reclaimed from erosion. And we are going to enjoy life here. You want to compare the brain of this man to that of Obi who ran away from erosion in Anambra. And he now wants to be president? President of where?”
