2027: Tinubu, Atiku, Obi can’t take Nigeria to the next level – SDP

Presidential Campaign Council of the Social Democratic Party, on Saturday, declared that President Bola Tinubu, former Vice president Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra governor, Peter Obi lack what it takes to take Nigeria to the next level.

Chief Communications Adviser of the SDP campaign council, Comrade Mark Adebayo, made this declaration while addressing newsmen in Abuja.

He urged Nigerians to come out en masse to vote during the 2027 general elections.

Adebayo urged them to protect their votes, saying such is the only way they can get the right leadership.

While declaring Prince Adewole Adebayo as the best presidential material, the SDP chief communications adviser argued that the party’s presidential candidate was more prepared, intellectually ready and has put together a blueprint needed to solve Nigeria’s problems.

Adebayo explained that unlike “establishment politicians” who look at public office as a tool for personal wealth, Adewole Adebayo is a self-made leader with clean hands, adding that “no other candidate possesses that level of humility – inspite of his sophisticated intellectual profile – and commitment to the country.

“He is definitely a clear alternative to the “Siamese Twins”. The major political factions in Nigeria have proven to be two sides of the same coin, leaving the country politically lifeless. Prince Adebayo and the SDP represent the true third force that millions of Nigerians have been crying out for.”

While saying that the choice before Nigerians is clear, he noted that the difference between Adebayo and the rest is the difference between a professional planner and a smooth talker.

“Forty years is not enough time for corrupt leaders to stop milking a country dry, but four years is more than enough for a focused leader to rescue his people.”

“Compare him with Atiku, for instance, he stands taller with track records of personal integrity and professional excellence. The former Vice President’s integrity has been called to serious question consistently by no other than the president with whom he served. Nigeria cannot afford such ailment in addition to the current cancerous regime.

“Compared with Peter Obi, Adebayo offers a fundamentally superior approach to governance. Leadership requires moving beyond populist rhetoric but looking at empirical possibilities. By examining their economic ideologies, approaches to Labour, production models, and structural consistency, we can see that why Adebayo presents a more robust blueprint for Nigeria. Unlike Obi, Adebayo does not play to the gallery of ethnoreligious antipathies.”

On President Tinubu, he said there was “absolutely no basis for comparison” between the President and Adebayo, accusing the present administration of worsening poverty, hunger and insecurity.

He charged Nigerians to vote and protect their votes, saying “President Tinubu knows and all Nigerians know that in a free, fair and credible election, he will lose in a landslide in 2027″.

According to the spokesman, while other candidates rely on happenstance or build their platforms on vague slogans, Adebayo has unveiled a meticulous, thoroughly researched policy document titled, “Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity.

“This is not a pamphlet of slogans. It is a step-by-step master plan to fix the economy, build affordable infrastructure, and protect human dignity all achievable within a four-year timeline.”
