…as Gov expresses confidence in Adeola’s capacity to lead, assures two million votes for Tinubu’s re-election

Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has vowed to improve on the achievements of Governor Dapo Abiodun by taking them to what he described as the “Itesiwaju level” if elected governor in 2027.
Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, stated this on Thursday at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, during a mega rally organised by Caucus 7202.
He described Abiodun as a “silent achiever” whose over seven years in office had witnessed monumental achievements.
Yayi noted that the incumbent administration under Abiodun had laid a solid foundation for the future development of Ogun State.
The APC governorship flagbearer stated that his administration, if elected, rather than abandon the gains already recorded by Governor Abiodun, will consolidate and expand them for the prosperity of the state and people.
Senator Adeola said the APC has the structures, organisation and grassroots support required to retain power and win convincingly in the 2027 general elections.
He also dismissed insinuations about forging any alliance with opposition parties, urging APC faithful to remain vigilant and focused on victory in the 2027 elections.

Governor Abiodun, who also addressed the rally attended by supporters from the 20 local government areas, said the mammoth crowd was proof that the APC remains united and ready.
He expressed confidence in Senator Adeola’s capacity to lead, reaffirming the state’s commitment to delivering two million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
