Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has met with the National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party, Yabagi Yusuf Sani, and other senior executives.

The meeting reportedly held on Saturday at Atiku’s Abuja residence.
The meeting is coming on the heels of rumours of an alliance between some opposition figures ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speculations are rife that former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi and his Kano State counterpart, Rabiu Kwankwaso may get the African Democratic Congress ticket to challenge President Bola Tinubu.
But this move may not favour Atiku, who is also eyeing the ADC presidential ticket.
ADP National Chairman, Yabagi Yusuf, however said the meeting with Atiku was not about a merger with any party.
He also stated that it was not about recruiting any individual into the ADP.
