Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the death of twelve people in a road accident along the Kaduna-Kachia Road in Kaduna State.
The road crash was said to have involved two overloaded Volkswagen Golf cars along the Kaduna-Kachia Road.

Two other persons were seriously injured in the road crash.
FRSC Sector Commander in Kaduna, Mr Andrew Paul Longkam revealed that 14 people were traveling in the two cars while 12 of them met their deaths at Doka Village in Southern Kaduna.
According to him, the 14 people comprised eight males and six females while all the eight males died along with four females, two other females survived with injuries.
The FRSC Commander said the victims were travelling in the two Volkswagen Golf cars, a blue vehicle with registration number APP 394 FN and a red one with registration number ACN 205 HK.
Longkam identified a tyre burst as the possible cause of the accident, adding that none of the occupants, including the two drivers, was wearing seat belt or using any protective device at the time of the incident.
He said the two injured victims have been evacuated to Rapha Hospital for medical treatment while the bodies of those who died were deposited at Idon General Hospital pending contact with their relatives.
