Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, says the country is not interested in engaging in a prolonged war with Iran, stressing that it will work closely with the United States to take a decision on the appropriate time to end the conflict.

Saar, who spoke with reporters in Jerusalem, explained that Israel plans to consult its American allies before taking any decision about concluding the fighting.
“We will talk with our American friends when we believe the time is right. We are not looking for an endless war,” he said.
But the minister refused to provide any timeline for when the conflict could end.
Saar said it is too early to predict how long the situation will last.
