A group of herders, on Saturday, reportedly attacked operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Akure, the capital of Ondo State. Public Relations Officer of Amotekun in Ondo, Jimoh Adeniken, said in a statement that the operatives were responding to complaints by farmers in Igoba and Osi areas of Akure North LGA when they were attacked. With this development, a nationwide power outage has hit Nigeria.
