Police in Bauchi have arrested a 28-year-old woman with suspected Colorado and methamphetamine, alongside two other suspects in connection with alleged armed robbery and culpable homicide in separate operations across the state.
State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Habib, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, adding that the arrests were made within 24 hours.

Habib said the woman, identified as Sara Chikodi, was arrested in Bayan Gari, Bauchi, at about 7pm on October 19 following credible intelligence.
He said a search conducted on her led to the recovery of 10 sachets of dried leaves suspected to be Colorado or Indian hemp and a pinch of methamphetamine, popularly known as Ice.
The police spokesman said the case was under investigation, while efforts were ongoing to identify and arrest her alleged supplier and dismantle the drug distribution network.
In a separate operation, police operatives arrested a 22-year-old man, Zakariya’u Musa, over the alleged robbery of three secondary school students along Old Airport Road in the Gidan Gona area of Bauchi.
According to the statement, Musa and two accomplices, identified as Abdul’aziz, popularly known as Carlos, and another suspect known as Jagwa, allegedly lured the students into a passage and threatened them with a knife before dispossessing them of two mobile phones valued at N50,000.
Habib said the students raised the alarm, leading to Musa’s arrest, while the two accomplices escaped.
He added that the police had intensified efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
The command also arrested a 20-year-old man, Isa Moh’d, in connection with the alleged killing of Salim Moh’d following a misunderstanding.
The suspect was arrested on October 19 at about 1:20pm, a day after he allegedly stabbed the deceased to death, the statement said.
Habib said the suspect would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution.
The Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, commended the operatives for their prompt response and urged members of the public to continue providing credible information to support crime prevention.
He warned criminal elements against operating in Bauchi State, assuring residents that the command would sustain efforts to protect lives and property.
