Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Petit, has ruled out Chelsea from challenging for the Premier League title this season.
Petit believes it’s too soon for Xabi Alonso’s side to be considered a real challenger.
He also backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title again this season.
“As I said, I think Arsenal will win back-to-back Premier Leagues,” Petit told talkSPORT.
“As I said again, Chelsea will fight until the end for the title, but I think it’s probably too soon this season for Chelsea to be a real contender until the end.”
Chelsea finished in 10th position in the Premier League table last season.
