A flurry of congratulatory letters and emotionally-penned felicitations from eminent personalities from all walks of life have been pouring in to celebrate media professional and promoter of the popular public discourse platform, Boiling Point Arena, Ayo Arowojolu, as he clocked 59 on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Among those who conveyed goodwill messages to the media professional are Senator Iyabo Obasanjo, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Matemilola, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, Secretary-General, Association of African Universities, Prof Olusola Oyewole, Retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi and the General Overseer, Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.

In her congratulatory message, Senator Obasanjo described Arowojolu as a committed media professional whose passion for principled discourse and national development has found enduring expression through the Boiling Point Arena platform.

She praised his consistency in creating “a credible platform for robust engagement on critical national issues,” adding that his commitment to informed dialogue remained a significant contribution to Nigeria’s democratic evolution.

The Professor of Epidemiology recalled their “brief but memorable engagement” during her gubernatorial media activities, noting that Arowojolu had consistently demonstrated discipline, clarity of purpose and dedication to nation-building through media engagement.

Also extolling the celebrant’s virtues, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Matemilola, described Arowojolu as a man gifted with the grace to gather people, listen attentively and guide meaningful conversations through the Boiling Point Arena initiative.

“There is a specific, quiet kind of grace required to gather people, to truly listen to them, and to guide their conversations as you do at the Boiling Point Arena,” the monarch stated, while offering royal blessings and prayers for greater accomplishments in the new year.

Similarly, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, hailed Arowojolu’s resilience, integrity and enduring relevance, saying the media practitioner exemplifies “the rare blend of experience and undiminished zeal.”

According to the monarch, Arowojolu has proven that leadership transcends titles and is fundamentally about impact, stressing that his influence continues to resonate beyond the media space.

In a separate tribute, Commodore Olawunmi, an Associate professor of Global Counter Terrorism, speaking on behalf of Galilee College, described the celebrant as “a man of courage, substance and vision” who has used Boiling Point Arena to enrich national discourse and deepen democratic engagement.

He noted that the platform had become a respected civic space interrogating governance, challenging complacency and advancing meaningful conversations on national development.

On his part, Prof. Oyewole commended Arowojolu’s contributions to journalism, public discourse, academia and ministry, describing him as a principled voice committed to truth and societal transformation.

The former Vice-Chancellor particularly applauded the growing influence of Boiling Point, noting that its success was rooted in consistency, intellectual depth and refusal to embrace mediocrity.

He also praised Arowojolu’s advocacy for university-based broadcasting, describing it as “visionary and timely,” while praying for greater influence, renewed strength and enduring relevance in the years ahead.

In the estimation of Apostle Lawrence Achudume, Arowojolu is a distinguished media professional whose voice and vision have consistently championed national development and social change.

Achudume stated: “Your dedication to using the media as a platform for enlightenment, progress, and unity has left an indelible mark on society. At 59, you stand as a beacon of wisdom, integrity, and purposeful leadership, inspiring both colleagues and the younger generation to see media not just as a tool for information, but as a force for transformation.

“May this new year of your life bring renewed strength, joy, and fulfillment. May your influence continue to shape narratives that uplift communities and foster a better nation. Congratulations on this milestone, Dr. Arowojolu. The impact of your work is a gift that keeps giving, and today we celebrate not just your birthday, but the legacy you continue to build.”

The International Coordinator of Perspective Leadership Development Institute(PLD Institute), Prof Olusesi Michael Obateye, similarly appreciated Arowojolu’s invaluable contributions to the PLD Institute and the
Leadership Empowerment International Conference (LEIC), saying his commitment,
support, and exemplary leadership have continued to leave remarkable footprints
that cannot be quantified.

The celebrant, widely regarded as a respected journalist, public affairs analyst, public relations strategist and clergy, has continued to gain recognition for using the Boiling Point Arena platform to convene high-level conversations on governance, leadership, economy, security and social development in Nigeria.
