A renowned community leader, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, on his 14th Coronation Anniversary, which coincides with the emergence of his royal Àrẹ̀mọ as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

Chief Egungbohun, a notable stakeholder in Ogun State, has consistently advocated for fairness and inclusion, recently appealing to key decision-makers on the urgent need to grant the people of Ogun West the opportunity to produce the next Governor of Ogun State in 2027.

The Olú-Ọmọ of Yewaland stated: “With a heart full of joy and deep respect, I, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, warmly celebrate Your Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, MFR, on the auspicious occasion of Your 14th Coronation Anniversary as it coincides with the emergence of our dear Àrẹ̀mọ as the consensus governorship candidate of the APC in Ogun State.

“Kabiyesi, today, I join all sons and daughters of Yewaland in honouring your extraordinary reign. For fourteen glorious years on the sacred throne of your forefathers, you have led with wisdom, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and our upliftment as a people. Your reign has been a source of pride and breakthrough and I am deeply privileged to be part of this celebration of your enduring legacy.”

Chief Egungbohun noted that it is highly remarkable that the 14th historic anniversary brought about a major political breakthrough for Ogun West and Ogun State at large—the emergence of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola as the consensus governorship candidate of the APC in Ogun State.

According to him, the development marked a new dawn for Ogun West and ending decades of political exclusion while restoring renewed hope to the people.

Chief Egungbohun acknowledged the role of visionary leadership, collective engagement at all levels, and the fatherly guidance of His Royal Majesty in helping to achieve this milestone for the overall benefit of Ogun State.

Most importantly, he appreciated the supportive posture of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing it as fatherly and impactful, while reaffirming continued loyalty and respect.

To Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, he extended heartfelt congratulations, describing his emergence as a call to higher responsibility and impactful service. He prayed that his journey would bring greater development, infrastructural transformation, and inclusive growth to Ogun State, especially Ogun West.

On this special day, I, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, proudly identify with the people of Yewaland, Ogun West and Ogun State, and I celebrate both our revered Paramount Ruler, HRM Kehinde Olugbenle whose reign continues to record milestones, as I stand in solidarity with our distinguished son of the land, Distinguished Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola, known popularly as YAYI, whose future holds great promise.

Agains, I say, “Congratulations to our dear Kabiyesi on His Royal 14th Coronation Anniversary, and congratulations to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on this historic consensus emergence. May Yewaland and Ogun State continue to rise in unity, peace, and prosperity.”
