All Progressives Congress National Working Committee says its ongoing digital membership registration exercise will surpass 9 million registered members within the first two weeks.
APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, expressed this confidence at a press conference on Monday.
This is just as the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru disclosed that over 2 million Nigerians had already completed registration in just the first week.
Basiru stressed the critical role of accurate data in enhancing the party’s operational efficiency.
He said, “We are happy to inform Nigerians that just a week into the exercise, those who have registered as members of the APC are already over 2 million.
“We envisage that by the time we make another assessment next week, we should have 8-9 million registered members.
“Any state that is found lagging, the National Working Committee has been given the latitude to change the coordinator of such state.”
