Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, says war will be declared in the country if the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government does not stop persecuting the opposition.
Mohammed issued the warning in Bauchi while receiving an award as Safety Ambassador from the Safety Institute of Nigeria.

He lamented that politics had become something else in Nigeria.
According to the governor, he woke up only to be told that he’s being accused of terrorism.
He lamented that his commissioner has been kept in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The former FCT minister also stated that even when he has immunity as a governor, his name was mentioned in a motion in court.
Mohammed said, “God is wonderful. I don’t have to say anything. I don’t even have to go to the public court, but certainly, politics has become something else in Nigeria.
“The APC-led Federal Government thinks it can use the courts and institutions of government, like the EFCC, to persecute and prosecute Nigerians who are not in their party. If they don’t stop, we’re going to declare war.”
