Renowned economist and finance expert, Mr. Lade Fasua, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his visionary leadership and transformative policies in Ondo State, describing his administration as “a game-changer” for economic growth and infrastructure development.
Fasua, who is also a public affairs analyst, gave the commendation over the weekend in an interview with The Hope.
He praised the governor for attracting a firm that had secured $15 billion to establish a refinery in Ondo State, describing the development as a landmark achievement that would position the state as a major player in Nigeria’s industrial and energy sectors.
He also lauded the administration’s plans to set up a free trade zone, stressing its potential to create employment, stimulate local industries, and strengthen Ondo’s economic profile.
“The strategic initiatives of Governor Aiyedatiwa are nothing short of transformative.
“From securing multi-billion-dollar investments to creating a business-friendly environment, his leadership is putting Ondo on the path to sustainable growth and prosperity, Fasua said.
The Fellow Chartered Accountant, FCA, further commended the governor’s commitment to infrastructure development, highlighting the extensive road networks constructed and rehabilitated across the state.
According to him, these projects will improve mobility, enhance commerce and connect communities to economic opportunities.
He also showered praises on the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Victor Olabimtan, describing him as “a dynamic and results-driven leader whose contributions extend far beyond education.”
Fasua noted Olabimtan’s transformative work in improving school infrastructure, ensuring timely disbursement of educational resources and implementing programmes that enhance learning outcomes across the state.
He further commended Olabimtan’s pivotal role in strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, describing him as a key strategist who has “mobilised grassroots support, fostered party unity and inspired young leaders to actively participate in governance.”
Speaking on his aspiration to serve in the Ondo State House of Assembly, the Akure-born accountant said his candidacy was aimed at supporting and consolidating on the progress achieved by the Aiyedatiwa administration.
“My focus will be on sustaining the momentum in investment, infrastructure, education and human capital development, ensuring that every Ondo resident benefits from these initiatives,” he promised.
