The Senator representing Ogun West in the National Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, fondly called Yayi, has urged entrepreneurs to avail themselves of the opportunities provided by trade fairs to showcase their products.
He described trade fairs as veritable platforms for entrepreneurs to expose, promote, and expand the visibility of their products.
Senator Adeola, who stated this at the just-concluded 3-day Ogun West MSME Trade Fair held in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, on Friday, November 7, 2025, stressed the importance of continuous innovation and digital literacy in business growth.
The Ogun West lawmaker advised entrepreneurs, particularly those in the agri-business sector, to leverage modern digital marketing techniques and online platforms to reach wider audiences beyond their local markets.
The trade fair, which had the theme, “MSME as a Catalyst for Economic Growth,” was organised by Senator Adeola in collaboration with the Federal Cooperative College, Oji River, Enugu State.
He noted that the event was designed to provide over 100 agri-business entrepreneurs with a valuable opportunity to exhibit their products, interact with potential investors, and explore new business networks that can drive regional and national economic development.
