Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc and Anap Foundation, Atedo Peterside, says the Independent National Electoral Commission under its immediate past Chairman, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu was nothing but a national disgrace.
Peterside stated this on Monday while appearing on a Channels Television programme, Politics Today.
Responding on his expectations of the new INEC leadership under Prof Joash Amupitan and the forthcoming off-cycle elections in Anambra and Ekiti states, Peterside said, “I would never say never. But the INEC that was left by Prof Mahmoud Yakubu was a national disgrace.
“If you have time, you just have to go on the IReV. I can take you there myself and show you result sheet which they manipulated.
“Sometimes they changed figures and forgot to change the words. This didn’t add up at all.”
