Prominent Members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo State, including the reinstated Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu belonging to the legacy group of the party have, officially joined the opposition All Progressives Congress in the state.
They were received into the APC by the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje and other big wigs of the party from the national and state levels during the inauguration of Edo state APC National Governorship Campaign Council in Benin City on Saturday.
Prominent on the list of the new entrants to the APC are the reinstated Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, former BoT member of PDP, Charles Idahosa, former PDP governorship aspirant Felix akhabue, former Edo state house of assembly speakers , Frank Okiye, Kabiru Adjoto, among others.
