Federal Government says it has no immediate plan to implement the five per cent Petroleum Products Tax contained in the new tax legislation.
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
The controversial tax has continued to generate widespread anger among Nigerians, with the organised labour issuing an ultimatum to the government to cancel it or face nationwide strike action.
