Bundesliga club Hamburg have announced the signing of Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha.
Torunarigha joined the former European champions on a free transfer after severing ties with Belgian Pro League outfit KAA Gent.
The Nigerian is making a return to Germany after his previous stint with Hertha Berlin.
The centre-back was on the books of Hertha Berlin for five years before switching over to Gent.
Torunarigha said he is looking forward to meeting his new teammates and the coaching staff.
“I can hardly wait to get to know my teammates, the coaching staff, the staff, the fans, and the city, and to use all my strengths and experience to help us have a successful season together and achieve our goals,” he told the club’s official website.
Hamburg were promoted to the Bundesliga last season.
