Gunmen have reportedly attacked the youth Chairman of Labour Party in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, Mr Osagie Odigie, ahead of the September 21 gubernatorial election.
Details of the Tuesday June 18th attack at his residence in the locality remains sketchy, but sources said the gunshot victim had been taken to undisclosed hospital for urgent medical attention.
Members of Labour Party and Mr Odigie’s family have started praying for his safety and quick recovery of the victim.
