The Senate on Wednesday, confirmed the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun’s appointment as the substantive CJN.
This is just as the new CJN called for the termination of pre-election cases at the Appeal Court as against the current practice where they get to the Supreme Court.
She made this call while answering questions from Senators during her screening.
The CJN also canvassed for the application of stringent process in the appointment of Judges.
