Rapper Speed Darlington has recounted the shocking events surrounding his recent rearrest in Owerri.
Speed Darlington explained that he was suddenly apprehended by two police squads while leaving an event venue.
He said he initially believed his host had arranged for a police escort to take him to his hotel.
However, he said reality set in 12 seconds later when the crowd began to panic, and he realised he was under arrest.
The rapper expressed frustration about being detained for two months, sharing a video from his final performance before the arrest.
He wrote: “After I measured this booty right there in Owerri, 30 minutes later I came outside to go back to hotel because my obligation to the host has been fulfilled that’s when two squads of police rushed me and ruffled me up. The whole time I thought my host was trying to make me special by giving me escorts to my hotel from the venue since he was unable to provide it from hotel to the venue.. it took like 12 seconds or more before I realised that I’m under arrest just like that I was gone for two months.”
