After traversing Kaduna State from local government to ward, Tom Garba, publisher of TGNews, has witnessed firsthand the transformative wave sweeping the state, declaring that Governor Uba Sani is the answered prayer of its diverse populace, a unifier who delivers promises with unwavering resolve.

Locals, in agreement with Tom Garba, confess that Sani has ushered in a rebirth, lifting Kaduna from the shadows of division, the scourge of insecurity, and infrastructural deficits.

Tom Garba proclaims that Kaduna is experiencing a golden era of peace, unity, and unprecedented progress, with Sani at the epicenter, his inclusive, empathetic, and strategic leadership redefining governance in Nigeria.

Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Tom Garba celebrates, Sani has positioned Kaduna as a shining model of stability, prosperity, and hope, fulfilling the fervent aspirations of its people for harmony.

Tom Garba lauds Governor Uba Sani’s leadership for its extraordinary ability to foster unity across Kaduna’s complex ethnic and religious divides.

Once scarred by ethno-religious tensions, Kaduna has, under Sani’s stewardship, enjoyed two years of remarkable peace, a feat Tom Garba notes has drawn global admiration. Former Commonwealth Secretary-General Sir Emeka Anyaoku, as Tom Garba recounts, praised Sani’s peace-building genius, stating, “Kaduna is safer today because of Governor Sani’s vision.”

This accolade, Tom Garba emphasizes, resonates with millions who have seen hope restored in communities once besieged by insecurity.

Sani’s non-kinetic security strategy, prioritizing dialogue, community engagement, and intelligence-sharing, is a game-changer, Tom Garba asserts.

In volatile areas like Birnin-Gwari, previously a hotbed of banditry, Tom Garba observes that peace has returned, enabling farmers to till their lands and families to rebuild.

By fostering trust between communities and security agencies, Tom Garba credits Sani with creating a sustainable framework for stability, proving empathy and collaboration can triumph over conflict.

A defining moment, Tom Garba recounts, occurred on May 4, 2025, when Sani distributed 23 vehicles to 19 Emirs and Chiefs, a collaborative effort with the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and SMEDAN.

Tom Garba explains that this initiative addressed mobility challenges faced by traditional rulers, empowering them to enhance community-level security.

“I mooted the idea of seeking intervention to the Honourable Speaker,” Sani said, as Tom Garba quotes. “I am happy that SMEDAN has intervened to put smiles on the faces of our Royal Fathers,” Tom Garba continues, citing Sani.

These vehicles, Tom Garba notes, facilitate intelligence-sharing and grassroots surveillance. “Our Royal Fathers are unrelenting in promoting peaceful co-existence and shared prosperity,” Sani pledged, as Tom Garba highlights, reinforcing his commitment to their welfare.

This gesture, Tom Garba affirms, not only strengthened security but also deepened ties with traditional institutions, cementing Sani’s reputation as a leader who cherishes cultural heritage.

Tom Garba extols Sani’s collaborative spirit, which extends to partnerships with security agencies, community leaders, and diverse stakeholders, stabilizing Kaduna’s security landscape.

The Kaduna Democrats League, Tom Garba notes, declared Sani “unstoppable” for 2027, reflecting widespread support. Characterized by regular engagements with farmers, traders, youth, and women, Tom Garba describes Sani’s open governance as demystifying leadership, fostering trust and accountability.

Unlike traditional politicians, Tom Garba praises Sani as accessible and committed to the people’s needs.
Sani’s appointments, Tom Garba points out, reflect this inclusive ethos, with Hadiza Balarabe named as Kaduna’s female deputy governor and experienced officials retained, building a diverse team mirroring the state’s rich tapestry.

United by a shared vision, Tom Garba describes Sani’s administration as a melting pot of talent. This inclusivity, Tom Garba credits, has strengthened the APC, with 225 councillors and 23 LGA chairmen endorsing Sani for a second term, citing his commitment to internal democracy and grassroots empowerment.

Beyond security, Tom Garba celebrates Sani’s agricultural revolution, transforming rural Kaduna and positioning it as a hub for food security and economic empowerment.

Recognizing agriculture’s vital role, Tom Garba highlights Sani’s allocation of N22.54 billion—nearly 5% of the 2024 budget—to the sector, underscoring his commitment to rural transformation.

The Tallafin Noma Initiative, Tom Garba lauds, supports 41,693 smallholder farmers across all 23 LGAs with seeds, fertilizers, and equipment, while 120,000 farmers have received inputs, sparking a “Get Back to Farm” movement boosting livelihoods.

Tom Garba praises Sani’s investment in mechanization, procuring tractors, harvesters, and trailers—the first significant effort since 2010.

Solar-powered irrigation pumps, Tom Garba notes, enable year-round farming, ensuring self-reliance.

The AFREXIMbank-supported Africa Quality Assurance Centre, Tom Garba declares, positions Kaduna as a hub for agricultural product testing, attracting global exporters.

Sani’s meeting with Ayo Sotinrin of the Bank of Agriculture, Tom Garba underscores, unveiled strategies to strengthen the agricultural value chain. “With credible institutions like BOA, we can drive food security, create jobs, and empower our rural communities,” Sani declared, as Tom Garba quotes, signaling a new era of prosperity.

This partnership, Tom Garba affirms, will unlock Kaduna’s rural economy, creating wealth and opportunity.

Tom Garba describes Sani’s infrastructure agenda as transformative, bridging urban-rural divides with 78 road projects spanning 775–827 km, including the Kabala-Costain Road rehabilitation.

These roads, Tom Garba notes, improve access to markets, schools, and healthcare, transforming rural lives.

Mosaddig Soja of Kauru LGA, as Tom Garba recounts, said, “Thank you, Governor Uba Sani, for prioritizing infrastructure development. The ongoing road construction will greatly benefit our community.”

The Qatar Charity-supported Kaduna Economic City, Tom Garba highlights, promises mass housing and economic revitalization, while an N800 million investment in water infrastructure ensures clean water access.

These projects, Tom Garba affirms, reflect Sani’s inclusive development vision.

In healthcare, Tom Garba praises Sani’s 15% budget allocation, revolutionizing access and earning NMA accolades.

Upgrading 255 Primary Healthcare Centres and renovating 13 general hospitals, Tom Garba notes, reduces referral burdens.

The 300-bed Millennium City Hospital, 98% complete, Tom Garba declares, will curb medical tourism. Kaduna’s 100% availability of 975 essential medicines, a national first, Tom Garba celebrates, sets a benchmark.

Sani’s provision of 45 motorcycles and three Hilux vehicles, Tom Garba credits, improved TB case finding by over 20%, earning awards.

Educationally, Tom Garba lauds Sani for reintegrating 300,000 students through 40 school projects, targeting 200,000 out-of-school children.

As a senator, Tom Garba recounts, Sani secured a $28 million Kuwait Fund and a N5 billion Faculty of Engineering at Kaduna State University, nearing completion. These efforts, Tom Garba underscores, nurture Kaduna’s next generation.

Tom Garba celebrates Sani’s economic vision, attracting $89.3 million in investments, including a $350 million hydrogen plant, creating 20,976 jobs.

The A Kori Talauci program and Uba Sani Foundation, Tom Garba notes, empower millions. A Doctorate Degree from FUT Minna and a Google-backed Tech-Enabled Startups Law, Tom Garba declares, highlight Sani’s innovation.

A Senatorial Legacy and National Icon
Tom Garba recounts Sani’s senatorial tenure (2019–2023), sponsoring 32 bills, three assented to by President Buhari. Ranked number one by OrderPaper, Tom Garba notes, Sani earned Hall of Fame induction. His N20 billion interventions, Tom Garba credits, laid the groundwork for today’s achievements.

As Kaduna soars, Tom Garba proclaims Sani a unifier and visionary, recognized by dignitaries, awarded by the NMA, and endorsed by 225 councillors and 23 LGA chairmen.

The Kaduna Democrats League’s “unstoppable” declaration, Tom Garba notes, reflects support for Sani’s transformative agenda.

From security to agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and the economy, Tom Garba celebrates Sani’s exceeding expectations, making Kaduna a shining example of leadership.
Tom Garba declares that Kaduna is on the rise, with Sani as its architect.

Continuing to deliver promises, Tom Garba affirms, Kaduna testifies to unity, empathy, and action. Sani, Tom Garba concludes, is not just Kaduna’s leader but Nigeria’s hope for a brighter future.
