National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Thursday, led governors elected on the platform of the ruling party to a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ganduje and the governors, it was learnt visited the Villa to present the Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, to President Tinubu.
Some of the Governors at the meeting include Hope Uzodimma, (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi) and Dapo Abiodun, (Ogun).
Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Deputy Governor of Edo, Philip Shaibu were also part of the entourage to the Villa.
On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Okpebholo winner of the September 21 governorship election. The opposition Peoples Democratic Party however kicked against the declaration, claiming that the process was marred by irregularities.
