The family of the late industrialist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has revealed that he will be buried in Madina, Saudi Arabia.
Dantata will be interred next to his wife, Rabi’a, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.
Following the industrialist’s death in Abu Dhabi on Friday night, a funeral prayer in absentia was held in Kano on Saturday.
Kano State chapter of the Council of Ulama organised the Salatul Ghaib; a special prayer offered for the deceased when the body is not present to honour the elder statesman and philanthropist.
Thousands of people from Kano and beyond attended the prayer.
